Emmaus Gathering

The September Gathering will be held on
Friday, Sept. 9th, at New Carlisle UMC,
300 Compton St., New Carlisle.

A Carry-In Supper will be at 6:30, and the Worship service is at 7:30. Please join us for a night of singing and praise.

Followers Class

On September 11th, the Followers Class
will begin a new study by MAX LUCADO entitled "BEFORE AMEN", The Power of a Simple Prayer.

This is a 8 week DVD session. Connecting with God each day can be as simple as five short sentences; "Father, you are good. I need help. They need help. Thank you. In Jesus name, Amen" We all pray....some. WE all, in some way, struggle with prayer and how.
We will learn how to let go of uncertainties, trust
that God hears us and embrace a prayer life that
brings peace and rest.
