Dear SDFG Business Member:
The San Diego Flute Guild - 2013 Spring Flute Festival is approaching fast. This year's event will be held on Sunday April 21st at San Diego State University. The SDFG Spring Flute Festival is the largest of its kind in southern California. It is a great opportunity to introduce flutists in this region to your products or services. This year we are excited to have Alexa Still as our featured guest artist plus we have talented clinicians and the excitement of our various competitions. More details are available at our website.
We hope you will consider becoming an exhibitor and/or sponsor for this year's event. Space is limited and we expect to sell out available space as we did last year. Space will be made available on a first come, first served basis and the earlier you sign up the more exposure you will receive.
As we get closer to the event date I will be providing more detail on the facilities, directions and details. We may also have plans for promotions (raffles, contests, etc.) that will encourage attendees to visit all of the exhibitors. As these plans mature I will be in touch with further details.
We are looking forward to a wonderful event and we hope you will consider joining us.
Regards,
Alan Payne

What to do with those little trill symbols in 18th-century flute music when there's an endless array of possibilities: grace-note trills, main-note trills, appoggiatura-trills, half-trills, snaps, ascending trills... even trilled turns.
