Duet & Ensemble Festival this Sunday, October 21st @ Oak Valley Middle School. Schedule of events: Competitions 12:50-2:30pm Awards Ceremony 2:45pm Anyone is welcome to come and watch the duets, trios, quartets, and even an octet of flutists perform.

The California Chamber Orchestra would like to extend a group sales offer to the members of the San Diego Flute Guild and their guests for the November 3 concert. Please contact Kate Prestia-Schaub for more information. (k8trills@aol.com) The adult ticket price represents a 20% discount from the regular Adult ticket. Students are $10. The theater requires that a minimum of 15 tickets be purchased to qualify as a group. For every 20 tickets you purchase, the group will receive one free ticket.

FALL MEMBERS RECITAL
The SDFG is pleased to provide a performance outlet to their members. The Fall Members' Recital is an opportunity for any member to perform on a recital.
Coronado Public Library Winn Room

Pieces for solo flute, flute & piano and flute ensembles are all welcome. A piano will be provided, but you must provide your own accompanist. Participating and attendance in the event is FREE and provided by the Friends of the Coronado Library - it is open to the general public. We provide the recital venue and light refreshments, the members provide the entertainment!

We have two openings on the SDFG Board
The positions open are: 2nd Vice President and Corresponding Secretary. Both ladies who held these positions will continue to help the organization but will not be able to attend regular board meetings, thus they are stepping down.
If you are an adult member who is interested in either of these positions please contact any member of the Board or email sandiegofluteguild@gmail.com or call 858-484-8609. Our schedule of events and meetings can be found here; board members are expected to attend most of the board meetings, volunteer at events and help in any way they are able. We really need your help; please volunteer now.
