Since the birth of my grand daughter, Devi Brooklyn Lakhia, born on July 24th, 2013, I have had numerous requests for photographs of this little peach. I have included many, but people keep asking for more. Please find several photos entitled:

These next couple of weeks are very busy for everyone, with Christmas quickly coming upon us. One thing I do want to get out there is that starting January 7th, we will be opening at 11 am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Our new winter hours will look something like this:
NEW HOURS STARTING JANUARY 7th
Monday- closed
Tuesday - 11 am to 8 pm
Wednesday - 11 am to 8 pm
Thursday - 11 am to 8 pm
Friday - 7 am to 9 pm (breakfast til 11 am)
Saturday - 7 am to 9 pm (breakfast til 11 am)
Sunday - 7 am to 3 pm (Breakfast Buffet 7 am to noon)
I have given it 5 years to see if we could build a breakfast crowd mid week outside of July and August. It has proven to be very costly to operate the facility and only serving a few. The lack of commerce in the China area during the week is a big factor. Also, there are now two other options right in town to get breakfast plus every convenience store provides coffee and breakfast sandwiches. I have elected to remain open for breakfast on Fridays to give those of you who enjoyed coming to the Dine-ah for breakfast, during the week, that opportunity. Our hours are remaining the same for the weekend, where we have always received good support at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
On New Year's Day, we will be offering our "world famous" breakfast buffet from 7 am to noon. In previous years, New Year's Day breakfast has been a big hit and this season, we are adding the buffet for your enjoyment and convenience.
Thanks to all for your outpouring of support of my son Derek, who was involved in a terrible car accident on November 18th. I am so happy to report that he and the other driver are doing very well.
Please call or come in and order a $30 gift card for only $25. It will make a unique gift for those who have not been in for awhile and a valued gift for those who come in often. We would love to see you all!
As we go through the hustle bustle of the Christmas season, please remember the reason for the season.

Normp.s.- This past Tuesday, representatives from Carlisle SynTec and Beacon Sales presented G & E Roofing with an award for 750 perfect roof installations. We are the only roofing contractor in the state of Maine to receive such an award. I accepted the award on behalf of our entire staff. These folks continue to perform superior work in a very tough work environment. They always make me proud, as does my staff here at the Dine-ah.
