That's a wrap!

FFCC Team Tanzania #8 returned home Tuesday night, March 1, after 18 days of traveling to and working with the people of Tanzania, East Africa.

A partial list of their accomplishments includes:

* Preparation of land for a new playground adjacent to the Children's Center in Singida, including the clearing and leveling of land and the construction of walls.

* Construction on business kiosks (dukas) next to the playground which will be an income source for the Children's Center for years to come.

* Groundbreaking for a new medical dispensary for the Hadzabe tribe.

* Installation of 25 water filter systems in homes, clinics, and hospitals, and training of the users of the new systems.

* Meeting with Regional and District Commissioners and the Prime Minister on a variety of subjects pertaining to the work FFCC is doing in Tanzania.

and, most importantly,

* Building relationships between FFCC and the people of Tanzania.

Thank you for your support of the team, the notes you sent, and most of all for your prayers. They made a difference!!

23rd Food Packaging Event

Sign ups begin March 6th!

On March 26th and 27th, FFCC will be teaming up with The Church at Rancho Bernardo (CRB) to host our 23rd Food Packaging Event. We are hoping to package 1/2 million meals or more.

Check your calendars and get ready to go online March 6th to reserve your spot!

Wondering what to bring to the packaging event?

Lots of energy and anticipation of having a GREAT time!
A donation of $20 to help support 80 meals that will be given away locally and shipped globally. All donations are tax deductible.
We are also asking volunteers to bring reading glasses and over-the-counter medications for individuals in Haiti and Tanzania. Click here or go to the FFCC website for more information.
