FFCC Team Tanzania #8 returned home Tuesday night, March 1, after 18 days of traveling to and working with the people of Tanzania, East Africa.
A partial list of their accomplishments includes:
* Preparation of land for a new playground adjacent to the Children's Center in Singida, including the clearing and leveling of land and the construction of walls.
* Construction on business kiosks (dukas) next to the playground which will be an income source for the Children's Center for years to come.
* Groundbreaking for a new medical dispensary for the Hadzabe tribe.
* Installation of 25 water filter systems in homes, clinics, and hospitals, and training of the users of the new systems.
* Meeting with Regional and District Commissioners and the Prime Minister on a variety of subjects pertaining to the work FFCC is doing in Tanzania.
and, most importantly,
* Building relationships between FFCC and the people of Tanzania.
