Dear ,
"Feed the Future" is a new FFCC high school club at Scripps Ranch High School. Sara Johnson, the club president, and FFCC had the opportunity to speak to the students at Ellen Browning Scripps Elementary School (EBS) this week. The students at EBS are learning about the power of generosity and Sara was able to share with them the ways generosity is being expressed through the activities and involvement of those in her club. She encouraged them to join her and her club members at both Food Packaging Events in November. She looks forward to passing on to them the legacy of "Feeding the Future" that she is building at Scripps Ranch High School.
Our San Diego community can be proud of the impact our young people are making as they engage in the fight against hunger! |

Shoe Boxes for Christmas!
We are up to 200 kids that have been adopted for Christmas in Haiti! Our goal is to provide Christmas Shoe Boxes for 2,000 homeless children in the city of Gressier. These children lost their parents in the January earthquake and will be experiencing their first Christmas without family.
You can partner with us by donating $10.00 for every child you would like to support. Your $10.00 will go towards purchasing a shoe box filled with clothing items, a toy, hygiene items, and a huge Christmas party where the kids will receive their gifts. FFCC will purchase these items in Haiti to help build back their economy. Consider sharing this opportunity with family members, your neighbors, school, and clubs. You can make your tax-deductible donation via Pay Pal or mail your check to: FFCC 12463 Rancho Bernardo PMB 158 San Diego, CA 92128. Please note "Haiti Christmas" in the memo section.
Let's make this a special Christmas for these children facing incredible hardships. Email Phil at philffcc@san.rr.com for more information, or download our information flyer right here. |
Clean Water for Haiti and Africa!FFCC has researched a new water purification system for both Haiti and Africa. This new filter system is simple, inexpensive, lightweight, and nearly goof proof. In addition, it is less than 1/3 the cost of our previous system! We can carry 70 of these sytems with us in a single suitcase! Just think of the impact we can have installing these in 70 homes or more, each time we take a trip to Haiti or Africa. Unsafe drinking water is a major cause of sickness and death in the third world. The recent cases of cholera in Haiti are a direct result of drinking polluted water. We can purchase, transport, install, and train the system users for only $75 dollars per system. If you're interested in helping FFCC with this outreach by purchasing one or more of these systems, please contact Phil at philffcc@san.rr.com .
