Creating Hope!
Last week, FFCC shared with you the desire to provide Christmas shoe boxes for 2,000 homeless children who lost their parents in the Haiti earthquake. Our goal is to raise $10.00 per child to purchase toys and needed items to make this a special and memorable Christmas season in the midst of such difficulty. To date, we have raised $610 dollars or enough to provide 61 children a Christmas shoebox. Please join us as we work to reach our goal of 2,000 shoeboxes, to make Christmas a little brighter for the children of Haiti. |
Join FFCC in Haiti!
FFCC's informational meeting for our January medical mission to Haiti was a huge success! There were over 30 doctors, nurses, pharmacists, health educators, and community members who attended our informational meeting on Monday night, September 20th.
There is still room for you on the team if you're interested in traveling with us to Haiti, January 14--22. Medical and non-medical volunteers are needed.

Bling for FFCC!
Lia sophia, a direct sales company specializing in home parties for quality, high-fashion jewelry, joined forces with Dream Dinners and hosted "Brunch and Bling".
Dream Dinners served some delicious Meatball Marinara Stuffed French Bread sandwiches that were a hit with all our guests! Our guests had a personalized shopping experience and a delicious meal all while supporting FFCC. Together, $170 was raised for FFCC! Domestically, that covers the cost of 1,300 meal packets that hold six servings each. FFCC would like to thank these ladies for coordinating this event and donating their proceeds to help FFCC purchase more meals for our upcoming food packaging events in November. If you would like to host a fundraiser for your organization, contact Phil at philffcc@san.rr.com .

FFCC Team #4 to Haiti!
A team from San Diego will be traveling back to Haiti, November 7th through the 12th. The purpose of the trip is to construct a mobile health clinic in the Kabwa District and coordinate with the medical staff in Gressier to ensure that all is ready to go for the Medical Team in January. FFCC will be taking medical supplies and equipment and coordinating the process that will allow the team to examine and care for 600-800 patients over the course of five days.
