State Qualifier FPS Test

Mark your calendars:

State Qualifier FPS test is on TUE Jan 28th from 2:30-5:15 pm at Odle MUR.

Please consider sending $10 cash with your child on test day, for pizza/food fund for test sessions if you haven't done so before.

REMINDER- Planning to send snacks? We have kids with allergies in the club, so please send Nut free items only.

Parent Volunteers needed to help serve food on test day. Can you help?

Pictures Requested

If your student's name is on the honor roll board and he/she does not have a picture, please talk to the counselor, who can take his/her picture in school. Alternatively, the student may send in a labeled picture and give it to the office

Mini Cheer camp 2014

Mini Cheer Camp will be held over three days (Tuesday, January 21 through Thursday, January 23) for 1-1/2 hours after school each day. A final performance will be held at an Interlake basketball game on Friday night, January 24.

The camp is designed for young girls to learn a few cheers, chants and dances taught by the Interlake High School cheerleaders. There will be no stunting or dangerous activities involved. The camp is a fundraiser for Interlake Cheer to help offset the costs of uniforms and equipment.

There will be adult supervision at all times during the camp.

Camp Dates: Tues/Wed/Thurs-- January 21, 22, 23

Camp Time: 4:00 - 5:30 pm

Performance Date: Friday, January 24 (time TBD)

Location: Interlake High School

Cost: $35.00 includes a t-shirt (cash or checks accepted: check made out to Interlake High School)

Volunteer Needs

Parents play a critical role at Odle. We encourage parent involvement and regular communication with the school to see what help is needed.

Viking Hut

Please sign up (www.SignUpGenius.com/go/30E0548ADA822A13-shifts/5080015) if you can help in the Viking Hut one day a week or once a month. The Hut had to be closed some days this week because we were short on helpers. It's an easy job and a great way to be involved without "embarrassing" your middle schooler! If you've never done it before and need some help or would like to partner up with an experienced person, please email Sonia at soniab795@gmail.com or Michelle at deerkopc@msn.com who would be willing to show you the ropes.

Thank you to all of the parent volunteers who helped make our "Sounds of Odle" holiday cd sale such a success--Luanne Lemmer, Debbie Li, Michelle Deerkop, Shirley Lim, Arlene Hoffman, Shaila Shetty, Katya Fujimoto, Sandra Gan, Jenice Ung, Kris Ikeda, Melissa Young, Bob Connell, Pascale Clark, Sara Rowe, Amelia Kwok, Pean Lim, Veer Shiv and Barb Skotte. Special thanks to Vikram Madan for his graphic design work, and to teachers Barney Blough Barry Roberts and Joanne Whang for their outstanding work with Odle's music students!

The next opportunity to hear Odle's wonderful student musicians will be the Winter Orchestra Concert--Thursday, January 16th, 7 pm in the MUR. Everyone is welcome!
