Future Problem Solvers Club

The Future Problem Solvers Club will have its second test on Tuesday, December 3rd from 2.30 p.m. to 5.15 p.m. The test will be held in the Odle MUR.

Please consider sending $10.00(cash) with your child on test day, if you have not done so before. There are some snacks from the previous test day. We also buy fresh fruit and drinks from your donations.

We will have an evening for our Spanish-Speaking families at Odle on December 4, 2013 from 5:30 to 8:00 pm in the MUR. This will include parent sessions on different topics. This event is brought to our families as a joint project of Odle's Action Team for Partnership (ATP) which aims to engage families and the community in ways that support student achievement and success.

We will provide childcare and dinner.

Volunteer Needs

Parents play a critical role at Odle. We encourage parent involvement and regularly communication with the school to see what help is needed.

Viking Hut

Please sign up (www.SignUpGenius.com/go/30E0548ADA822A13-shifts/5080015) if you can help in the Viking Hut one day a week or once a month. The Hut had to be closed some days this week because we were short on helpers. It's an easy job and a great way to be involved without "embarrassing" your middle schooler! If you've never done it before and need some help or would like to partner up with an experienced person, please email Sonia at soniab795@gmail.com or Michelle at deerkopc@msn.com who would be willing to show you the ropes.

Arena Conferences Dinner

The staff appreciation dinner was a huge success. The teachers liked all the wonderful food and truly appreciated the generosity of our Odle parents.

Memorable Performances by Odle's Music Groups

Odle's music groups have a busy December! Concert, Symphonic and Academy Band's perform at their Winter Concert Tuesday December 11,at 7 p.m in the Gym, and again Friday, December 13, 10:30 a.m at Crossroads Mall. Odle's Entry and Advanced Choir perform their Winter Choral Concert Wednesday, December 12, 7 p.m in the MUR. All are welcome!

FOOM's ASB Holiday CD Sale is happening again! Please look for your student's envelope with information. We're again selling CDs just in time for holiday gift-giving! Each CD is only $10.00 and features performances from all of Odle's music groups. Collections of CD orders/payments will happen on Nov. 27 and last orders/payments are due Friday, Dec. 6th. PayPal orders will again be accepted, with a small surcharge, via odlemusic.org.

CDs will be delivered to students on Wed. Dec. 18th. CD assembly helpers are needed. If you're willing to help for an hour or so on Tues. morning Dec. 17th, or if you have any questions, please contact Barb Skotte at bskotte@yahoo.com. 425-698-1726.

Bellevue Quality Schools Campaign

On February 11th 2014, parents can continue supporting educational programs in Bellevue by approving an educational programs and operations levy, a technology & capital levy and a proposed capital construction bond to rebuild BSD schools. Thanksgiving Baskets

The Count Your Blessings group is a group of BSD families that have come together to fill the need of donating 760+ Thanksgiving Baskets consisting of a traditional holiday meal to families across the district. Every year this group has worked to meet the demand and fill as many baskets as they have requests for from families. This year they are seeking additional support to fill the growing need in our community. It would be wonderful if the PTSAs would be able to jump in and a run a food drive or help raise funds to support this program. Volunteers are always a wonderful support as well. Here is the information:
