CONGRATULATIONS - Outstanding Educator Award
Congratulations to the winners of the PTSA's Outstanding Educator Award for 2012-2013!
Odle teachers Leslie Adams & and Hope Isitt were recognized during the field day assembly. This award recognizes individuals who go beyond the normal expectations of their jobs to make the learning environment fun, beneficial, and challenging.
Scholarship donations will be made in their honor to the Washington State PTA's scholarship program. Write-ups on each of these amazing teachers can be found soon on the odleptsa.org homepage.
Thank you to PTSA Award Committee Co-Chair Cathi Hervey and student body president Ramou Jallow for presenting these awards on behalf of Odle PTSA.

Attention 6th, 7th and Incoming Parents
PTSA periodically sends out emails whenever we or the school need volunteers. Our volunteer coordinator sends the request; parents can decide to reply or not. If you have not been receiving these emails and would like to, please email cwdevine57@gmail.com to be added to the volunteer pool.
Your middle school student may say that they don't want you at Odle, but they do! It's a great way to send the message that you care about their school and their education. They know how busy we are, so when we take the time to do this, it sends a powerful message. Just don't do anything embarrassing--like saying hello.

BOOK DRIVE
Thanks you to all of the Odle Parents for donating books to the book drive! We collected over 300 books across all age groups! Thank you PTA board member Shaila Shetty for organizing the book drive at Odle.
