October 5 - 9, 2015

To start the year off in a BOLD way, all Riverview artists created their very own monochromatic self portrait. Students learned how to use shade, tint and tone to add value to their work.

All of the students' portraits became a small piece of two large murals in our front hallways.

The two rainbow murals are simple reminders that every student at Riverview is a unique & colorful part of our school.

Board of Directors Informational Meeting

Monday 5:30 p.m. in the Art Room

As we look to the end of 2015, it is time for the election of Riverview's Board of Directors. If you or someone you know is interested in being a part of our board, please attend this meeting!

This December, the school will elect six (6) new board members, each to fulfill a two (2) year term from January 2016 thru December 2018.

Click here to volunteer, donate and learn about our 7th Annual Service Learning Project to help feed those in need. Our goal is to raise $11,500 to pay for the cost of packing 40,000 meals.

TIDEWATCH on Portfolio Night

No Tidewatch Enrichment Classes on Thursday, October 15th

ALL STUDENTS MUST BE PICKED UP BY 4:00 p.m. so that we may prepare for Portfolio Night & Empty Bowls

Please email Jaci Matz if your child will not be attending Tidewatch on the 15th.

Please note your calendars:

There will be NO TIDEWATCH on Monday, October 19th-23rd (Fall Break - NO SCHOOL).

There will be NO TIDEWATCH on Wednesday, November 11th (Veterans Day/Parent Conference Day - NO SCHOOL for Students).

Basketball Tryouts

6th - 8th Grade

Basketball Tryouts will take place on Monday, November 2nd, Tuesday November 3rd, with the final day of tryouts being on Wednesday November 4th. All students wishing to try out must have an updated physical (dated within the last 12 months) turned in to Coach Strebe in order to participate.
