All students must have a bus waiver on file with the school for the current school year BEFORE riding the bus for the first time. 

Bus schedules and waivers are also available in the Front Office.

PLEASE NOTE THAT BUS ROUTES ARE EXPECTED TO RUN LATER THAN SCHEDULED THIS WEEK, DUE TO ALL BCSD SCHOOLS STARTING ON MONDAY. 
Please anticipate fluctuation in the schedules and plan accordingly.  You may contact Durham School Services at 843-322-0770 if you are at a stop waiting on a bus.

themselves with students and routes.
Summer Reading Challenge
Reading Records Due THIS FRIDAY
Please turn summer reading records into homeroom teachers by this FRIDAY, August 21 for a chance to win a gift certificate for the upcoming Scholastic Fall Book Fair - one $50 gift certificate and four $10 gift certificates.  Drawing will be held on Monday, August 24th.

iPad Meeting (Middle School Only)
Tuesday OR Thursday THIS WEEK at 6:30 p.m.  
An iPad orientation is required for all rising 6th grade parents (unless you attended an orientation for an older sibling in a previous year) and for parents of new 7th and 8th grade students.  We have two meetings scheduled, please choose one.  

*iPad payments: ALL outstanding iPad balances for damages or loss must be paid prior to your child receiving his/her iPad this school year.  To check your balance, please click here to log into the Parent Portal.

Cross Country Try Outs (6th - 8th Grades)
This Wednesday 3:15 - 4:45 p.m.
If your child is interested in participating on the cross country team starting this week, they will need an UPDATED physical (dated within the last 12 months) on file at school before they can step foot on the practice field. If you have any further questions you may contact Athletic Director Jon Strebe at 
jstrebe@riverviewcharterschool.org or by phone at 843-379-0123 ext. 244.

Tidewatch Session I
Parents with students enrolled in Drop-in Care need to notify Jaci Matz, the Tidewatch Director, of the days your child will need care IN ADVANCE.  
If your child is Full-Time (M-F), Part-Time (M-F), or scheduled for a specific day and your child will not be going to Tidewatch that day, please notify the Front Office (379-0123) by 1:00p.m., so we have your child in the correct place at dismissal.  

TIDEWATCH asks that you email your child's teacher AND the Tidewatch Director, Jaci Matz (jmatz@riverviewcharterschool.org).  Thank you!
