BBQ BASH THANKS

For the community to be whole and healthy it must be based on people's love and concern for each other."  Thank you for demonstrating your concern for a whole and healthy community by generously supporting the annual YMCA Bluegrass & BBQ Bash.  From ticket sales, to auction bids, sponsors, donors and in-kind items donated, we raised over $21,000 for our best attended event EVER!   This is about 50% of our annual campaign goal, as we provide almost $40,000 in financial assistance each year at the Mathews Y.  Please know that it's volunteer fundraising efforts which secure funds to assist people from our community in their time of need; no one is turned away by the Y due to inability to pay full fees.  Thank you for helping us lay a solid foundation on which to finish up our annual giving campaign.  And also for understanding that in every community there is work to be done and in every heart there is power to do it.
