We understand, it can be intimidating to make the jump into participating in healthy activities; but we want to assure you that there is nothing to fear, when you join the Y. We welcome everyone with enthusiasm and offer whatever support you need to get started and stay engaged.
We offer a wide variety of convenient classes for people of all fitness levels and abilities, and an array of programs to help keep kids, teens and adults happy. And, of course, our facilities include state-of-the-art equipment and quality staff.
Join now through May 21 we will waive the joining fee, families save $100. Member privileges abound this month. For every member that you refer and joins the referring member will receive a month free! Jump In!

| SAILING CAMP | | |
Sail off into the Chesapeake Bay with the Y. Participants learn sailing terminology, safe sailing practices, how to rig a boat, launch it into the water, and sail away successfully.

Swim Lessons
Classes meet four days a week, 2 week sessions, 5 sessions.
Dates: June 17-27, July 1-11, July 15-25, July 29-Aug 8, and Aug 12-22.
Ages: 3-5 and 6-12

Outdoor Adventure Camp
Campers enjoy many different and exciting outdoor activities, including: kayaking, archeology, rock wall climbing, swimming, and many others!

Camp S.A.F.E.
Introduction to fitness through a variety of sports and games. Snacks and daily field trips included!

Camp is coached by Mathews High School varsity soccer coach and his varsity soccer players.

Teens, come an be part of the solution to make-over Mathews.
Teens ages 12-18 should come prepared to roll-up

Step up to the plate for Adult co-ed Softball! Men and women ages 18 and older who enjoy friendly competition, the smell of dirt, mowed grass and oiled leather should all come out to play.
Date: Thursdays, June 20-August 15
Time: 6-9pm
Ages: 18+
Cost: $400 per Team
Payment must be paid in full before start of the season.
Team: 18 person Roster Limit
At least 4 females per team

Location: YMCA soccer field parking lot. Hudgins, VA
Donate your used items, (no clothing please) and shop for new treasures. Help send a few youngsters back to school with new supplies.

Mathews County Dept. of Social Services
Fresh Start Programs.
Drop off or arrange for pickup during business hours at the YMCA.
