Work Party Season

Fall Work Party

We had a fantastic turnout for last week's Fall All Day Work Party. The weather for most of the day was beautiful, and lots of yard work, dock maintenance, and railyard clean up work was done. The kitchen prepared a wonderful buffet lunch with lots of comfort food to keep us all going.

Thanks to the job jar ladies who assisted with any and all job jar questions, and a big thank you to everyone who came out to help maintain our club.

For this Saturday, we still need people to replace the bricks on the side of the club house, and there is always more leaf raking/yard clean up to do.

Work Party Thanks

Fall All Day Work Party

My turn to say a big THANK YOU!

There was a really good turnout on Saturday for the all day work party and most things on my list were accomplished. So I want to say well done to a special crew who worked solidly throughout the day to make our Club look as it should before winter.

There will always be work to be done, especially as the grounds have now been torn apart. Please, whenever you get the chance, clean up those broken branches, rake a few leaves and try to keep the grounds clear of debris. Every little bit helps.

For all of those who turned out on Saturday, please make sure that you log your hours, as there will be a special listing 'Fall all day work party", instead of under the 'gardening and landscape' jar.

Again a big thanks. It is a pleasure working with so many good people.

Property Notice

Reminder to Everyone

Dear members,

Now that the boats are in the yard, they are very tempting targets for those in society who would like to take your property. We are asking that outboard motors be removed and taken away, and that all ladders be folded and chained securely to the bottom of cradles. At the work party on the weekend, we went around the yard and moved any ladders not chained to a secure place where they can be retrieved.

Remove Dock Lines

Reminder to Everyone

Dock lines, hoses, and power cords have to be removed from the Docks and Mooring Tires. Take advantage of the calm, warm conditions over the next couple of days, as these items can be a hazard or a nuisance to crews working on the docks during fall and winter.

Thanks!
