Hugh joined ABYC in January 1962 and sailed a Folkboat at that time.  He acquired an Alberg 30 and eventually an Alberg 37 that he and his wife Lillian enjoyed for many years.  Hugh was recognized for his 50 years of membership and contributions to ABYC in 2012.
