Tomorrow is your opportunity to provide input and find out about the implications of hauling boats with masts up.

Please come to the Town Hall, Thursday 21 February, at 7pm, in the main hall of the club house.

Remember, this will be followed by a full membership survey, so look out for that.

Safety Seminar
__________________________________________________

The Lake Ontario Offshore Racing (LOOR) committee is running a Safety Seminar for all sailors at Ashbridge's Bay Yacht Club on Thursday March 7th from 7PM to 9PM.

This information session is recommended for anyone who wants to learn about some of the recent rule changes to safety on Lake Ontario.  The seminar is moderated by Guy Perrin (Chair of the LOOR Safety Subcommittee & Editor of sail-world.com/Canada) and a team of experienced Lake Ontario offshore sailors who will inform you and answer questions on all aspects of sailing safety.  The seminar provides novice and experienced mariners with information and skills required to prepare for sailing offshore, boat preparation and recommended safety equipment.

The Lake Ontario Offshore Racing (LOOR) committee is responsible for the planning of the Lake Ontario 300 Challenge, The Susan Hood Trophy Race and The Lake Ontario Short Handed Racing Series under the organizing authority of the Port Credit Yacht Club.  This group will bring you some of the most challenging races on Lake Ontario along with great resources and information to make competing in them a memorable experience.

Information about LOOR can be found on their website at   www.loor.ca

Love was definitely in the air on Friday Feb 15th Valentines Event!

The Food was fabulous, and we danced the night away to the wonderful array of music that the Brian Rose Band and Kat Langdon played for us throughout the night.  The dance floor was packed all night!

Thank you Chef Paul, and the Food and Beverage Team for another awesome job.

A special thanks to Sandra Connely for assisting with the V-Day Flower arrangements.
