From exciting bike events to world-class new bike trails, 2014 was a great year for biking in Tahoe. In no particular order, we present ten of the best highlights from the past 12 months:

How do you prepare for winter riding?

Tricked-out fat tire bikes? Fork-mounted blow-torch? Send us a photo of yourself and your winter setup, and we'll share some of the best on our Facebook page. (Was your bike path plowed? Send us a photo of that too please!)
Weigh in on the Fanny Bridge Revitalization
Join the conversation about plans for improving bicycle access as part of the overhaul of Fanny Bridge, the iconic landmark in Tahoe City.

The Tahoe Transportation District will host an open house on January 29, and you can submit public comments until February 17. More details are available on the project website.
