The Bethlehem Committee on Deer and Ticks has produced a rack card to highlight the committee's presence in town and to direct residents to their  webpage which has a host of information about various deer and tick related issues.  If you are a doctor's office, veterinary office, or any other business that would like a stack of these cards for your waiting room or office, email the committee to request a supply.


American Pickers is coming to New York!

 

AMERICAN PICKERS is a documentary series that explores the fascinating world of antique 'picking' on History.  Mike Wolfe, Frank Fritz, and their team will be filming in New York for Summer 2016.

AMERICAN PICKERS is looking for leads and would love to explore your buried treasure. They are on the hunt for characters with interesting and unique items.  Some of what they look for: vintage bicycles, toys, unusual radios, movie memorabilia, advertising, military items, folk art, early firefighting equipment, vintage musical equipment, automotive items, and clothing.

On Tuesday, June 7, the State of New York will launch a new Cyber Security Initiative titled "5 Steps To Better Cybersecurity" for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses, Local Governments, Not-For-Profit Organizations, and IT and E-commerce vendors.  The event will be held from 10am-12pm at the Empire State Plaza, Meeting Room 6 in Albany.  The presentation will take participants through the set of steps that will help them identify what they have at risk and what they need to protect them.
