     Tuesday we celebrated the Grand Opening of Glenmont Abbey Village, the newest active senior community for adults 55 and older. Michael Uccellini, President and CEO of the United Group of Companies (center) is joined by UCOG representatives including Sharon Kelley and Corinne Ellis, along with Town Supervisor John Clarkson, Town Board members Doris Davis and David VanLuven, Jennifer Kilcoyne, President of the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce and and Liz Gemlick also with the Chamber.  See Photo Gallery.

16 Handles Stage 16 Concert Series
 The Delmar Duathlon is this Sunday, April 24!  Sign up alone or as a team, click here.  Proceeds will be used for programs at the Elm Avenue Pool complex and to support the YMCA's Annual Campaign.On Thursday, April 21 the Bethlehem Historical Association presents Michael Engle - he will be giving an illustrated talk about diners in Bethlehem and the Capital District. A faculty member at HVCC, he co-authored "Diners of New York" and wrote "Diners of the Capital District."  His current project focuses on the history of diners in the Great Lakes states. The lecture takes place at the Cedar Hill Schoolhouse, 1003 River Road, Selkirk, at 7pm. All are welcome at this free event, and refreshments and conversation will follow the talk. Town historian Susan Leath will be available to sell and sign her new book, Historic Tales of Bethlehem, New York.
