Have you ever been curious about the name of Wemple Road? Join the Bethlehem Historical Association at the Cedar Hill Schoolhouse on Thursday, March 17 at 7pm. John Wemple, Jr will present a talk about the Wemples of Bethlehem. Come and find out more about a prominent Bethlehem family now remembered in the name Wemple Road. All are welcome, this is a free event. Refreshments and conversation will follow the talk, and town historian Susan Leath will be available to sell and sign her new book Historic Tales of Bethlehem, New York.
On Thursdays between 10 AM and 2 PM, theTown of Bethlehemwill be accepting donations for Habitat ReStore in the Capital District of slightly used furnishings, working appliances, cabinets, and other building materials at the Town of Bethlehem Transfer Station, 136 Rupert Rd, Selkirk, NY.
