Living Resources Workforce Networking Luncheon
300 Washington Ave Ext., Albany
Wednesday, February 24, 12:00 PM

Join us for a networking event to learn more about talented students with intellectual disabilities looking to better their futures with experience you can provide. Work experience is an important part of The College Experience program - launched in 2005, the focus is on providing students with intellectual disabilities opportunities similar to their siblings and high-school peers. As part of a diverse campus community, students practice living independently, making friends, and interning at area businesses. The two-year residential non-credit certificate program hosted by The College of Saint Rose in partnership with Living Resources gives these students the chance to attend college in order to transition to independent adult life, but with accommodated instruction that addresses students' needs for practical living and working skills. Free lunch will be provided.
