The Community Loan Fund has launched an "Invest Locally" Campaign. Each year, CLFCR lends out more than $3 million in funds pooled from socially concerned investors. The majority of that money is for long-term loans that are helping to start or expand small businesses, develop new essential community service programs, or build/rehab affordable housing. Interested in investing your money locally? Please consider joining with hundreds of other socially concerned investors by aligning your money with your values. The minimum investment amount is $1,000 and you can earn up to 1.50% annual interest. Of course, you can also donate the interest back to us and use it as a tax deduction. Either way, your investment is still yours. We're just using it to finance community-based economic development projects and while we're doing that, you're earning interest! CLFCR has a 100% repayment record to investors. For more information, please contact Linda Chandler, Director of Development, at (518) 436-8586 x806.
