 Shampoodle Dog Wash in Delmar celebrated a milestone 10th Anniversary in business last Thursday.  Owner Ginny Siciliano, center is joined by the Shampoodle team, as well as family and representatives from the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce, as well as reps from Realty USA and Bryant Asset Protection.  See  Photo Gallery. They will also commemorate the Anniversary with a charity walk for you and your pup, "The Return of Tails on the Rail Trail" will be held on Sunday, October 11 from 10am-Noon on the Helderberg Hudson Rail Trail starting at Adams St. Delmar to Slingerlands.  The Walk will benefit Pawsome Pups Perservere. We celebrated the official opening for Sky Beauty Bar at 339 Delaware Avenue in Delmar tonight. A full service salon, Sky Beauty Bar features an upscale NYC-style Blow Dry Bar, the first in the Capital Region!  Representatives from the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce, Town of Bethlehem, NY Economic Development and Planning, Capital Region Chamber, and Community Loan Fund of the Capital Region joined local business reps in welcoming the salon.  Owners Kelly Brunina and Maeghan Ublacker center, are joined by the Sky Beauty Bar team, family and friends. We celebrated the Grand Opening of hEARt Ear Boutique at 398 Feura Bush Road in Glenmont, a family-owned, Board-Certified hearing instrument specialist, offering the latest, high tech solutions for hearing loss. Tuesday we joined Colonial Acres Golf & Learning Center and ISC-Audubon in celebrating the opening of the Colonial Acres Walking Trail. This joint project also included Frank Slingerland and the Colonial Acres Community.  Dale Ezyk, Colonial Acres Golf and Frank Slingerland, center, are joined by Ron Dodson, ISC-Audubon (far right), Town Supervisor John Clarkson, Ann Marie Morin, Glenmont Job Corps Center (whose students helped with the trail) and representatives from the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce. The Trail runs from the Hole 1 Tee to the Hole 8 Green and will be open to the community for walking and running. Dogs are welcome under the owners control. The trail adds another element to the Center, which offers Golf, Foot Golf and other recreational activities for the community.  See Photo Gallery

The Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce, along with the Colonie and Guilderland Chambers and C I Destinations, presents Spain & the Sunny Costa del Sol. Spain's Costa del Sol stretches along just over 90 miles of the Malaga province and is one of Spain's most popular tourist destinations. The Costa del Sol is known for its beautiful landscapes, delicious food, all while experiencing the warmth of its people. Here you will also discover a rich cultural heritage, fabulous beaches, coastal sites and charming villages. On your tour you will travel to the nearby towns of Seville and Ronda to take in such sights as the Alcazar Palace and Plaza de Toros, the oldest bull ring in Spain. Your tour includes the #1 attraction in all of Spain, Granada and the Alhambra Palace. Visiting the Costa del Sol would not be complete without a tour to Gibraltar to view the infamous Rock of Gibraltar.

"Tails on The Rail Trail" is returning for a fall walk! Sunday October 11 from 10-noon it will take place on the rail trail that runs from Adams Street to Slingerlands...the opposite direction from the last walk. The walk is open for anyone to walk however far they would like to go and will benefit Pawsome Pups Perservere. For a donation of $20 each walker will receive a bandana for their pup and an event t-shirt. Rescue groups are welcome! Rescues can set up a table, sell items to raise money and even bring along pups for adoption.Walkers are invited to bring dog food to be donated to local rescue groups or shelters.
