5:30pm Ribbon Cutting; 7pm Star GazingRSVPJoin us for the Grand Opening of the Colonial Acres Walking Trail, a joint project of Colonial Acres Golf & Learning Center, ISC-Audubon, Frank Slingerland and The Colonial Acres Community. The Walking Trail Grand Opening will start at 5:30 pm and will be followed by Star Gazing at 7pm. We encourage all in attendance to stay for the Star Gazing Event. In the case of clouds we will still have the trail opening and reschedule the Star Gazing. The Colonial Acres Clubhouse will remain open throughout the events for the purchase of Soda, Beer, Wine and Snacks. View Invitation. The official Grand Opening of the Walking Trail is at 5:30pm. The Trail runs from the Hole 1 Tee to the Hole 8 Green and will be open to the community for walking and running. Dogs are welcome under the owners control. Stay for Star Gazing from 7pm-9pm. Special guest Janie Schwab, Albany Amateur Astronomy Club. Please bring telescopes and binoculars, some will be available at event. On Wednesday, Sept. 23, Bethlehem Public Library installed a public-use bicycle service station near the library entrance closest to the parking lot. The Dero Fixit device features hanger arms that bring the bike off the ground and allow the pedals and wheels to move freely. It also includes all of the tools needed to perform basic bike repairs and maintenance on the spot. Change a flat, adjust the brakes and derailleurs, or fix a wobbly seat - all at the library. Attached to the Fixit station by cables are Philips and flat-head screwdrivers, six sizes of Allen wrenches, six sizes of box wrenches, and two tire levers. Adjacent to the station is a heavy-duty air pump with a universal pump head that accommodates all valve stem types. The library's bicycle service station is free for anyone to use, 24 hours a day.

The event promises to tempt your taste buds with some of the areas most refined, artisan cheeses, breads, syrups, sauces, meat, vegetables and assorted sundries. The burgeoning farm-to-table (F2T) movement aligns perfectly with the school's core values of education, nature, and community connection. F2t emphasizes eating fresh and nutritious food, while supporting the local economy-connecting us with the community and our earth. An exclusive, evening Farm-to-Table Harvest Gala will follow the family-friendly day event. The gala dinner begins at 6:00 PM on the grounds of a local Slingerlands mansion, and will construct five unforgettable courses, created by the area's most prestigious chefs, followed by an incredible outdoor evening of music and dancing.
