ISC Audubon is hosting a Fly Fishing Demonstration at Colonial Acres Golf & Learning Center. Everything you ever wanted to know about Fly Fishing is being presented by the Capital District Fly Fishers club on Saturday, May 30 from 9 until 1:00 pm. Pre-registration is not required, all are welcome. The workshop is fun for the entire family. Learn how to tie a fly, and cast a fly rod. COMMUNITY HAPPENINGS
The Town of Bethlehem will host several Community Town Hall Meetings in the coming months. Community town hall meetings are an opportunity for citizens to speak directly with town-wide officials and discuss town issues and specific community concerns. They are scheduled in neighborhood centers throughout the town. An agenda is set around initiatives and concerns specific to the area. Citizens are also welcome to provide open comment on other issues of concern to town residents and leaders. Come to share your views with Supervisor Clarkson, Town Board members, and other town officials. Community Town Halls scheduled for this Spring: Glenmont/Selkirk May 14 (Thu) 7pm at Glenmont School, 328 Route 9W Elsmere/Delmar May 21 (Thu) 7pm at Elsmere Fire Department, 15 West Poplar Drive and Slingerlands/North Bethlehem June 11 (Thu) 7pm at Slingerlands Fire Department, 1520 New Scotland Road. Greenfest is a free, fun community event held annually at The Bethlehem Children's School, 12 Fisher Blvd, Slingerlands, NY. This year's event will take place on Saturday, May 16 from 10am-3pm.
