The Town of Bethlehem was successful in its application to the New York State Office of Homes and Community Renewal for the creation of a Microenterprise Grant Program.  The Town will receive $200,000 to provide grants to eligible Microenterprises, emerging, and existing businesses that want to locate in or expand within the Town of Bethlehem.  It is anticipated that a minimum of ten (10) businesses will be assisted with the awarded grant funds.  Grant awards will range from $5,000 to $35,000 and can be used to purchase inventory, machinery, equipment, furniture, fixtures and to meet working capital needs.

The  Town of Bethlehem will host several Community Town Hall Meetings in the coming months.  Community town hall meetings are an opportunity for citizens to speak directly with town-wide officials and discuss town issues and specific community concerns. They are scheduled in neighborhood centers throughout the town. An agenda is set around initiatives and concerns specific to the area. Citizens are also welcome to provide open comment on other issues of concern to town residents and leaders.  Come to share your views with Supervisor Clarkson, Town Board members, and other town officials. Greenfest is a free, fun community event held annually at The Bethlehem Children's School, 12 Fisher Blvd, Slingerlands, NY. This year's event will take place on Saturday, May 16 from 10am-3pm.
