Come to Coop at the Co-Op, Friday, 5/17, 5-7pm and enjoy a scavenger hunt, wine-tasting, and a viewing of the adorable coop you can win in our raffle. (See sidebar).
We also hope to see you at the Art Preview Party, May 23, 7pm, Hallmark Inn.

Our annual ceramics exhibit, Eight from ACGA,
runs through Saturday, May 25 - come in and see this exquisite show featuring Northern California artists before it closes!

We are also exhibiting photography by Susan Cohen Byrne this month.
Byrne has lived in rural Yolo County for over 35 years, and her photographs express her passion to create enduring images of the beauty of the area.
Celebrate both exhibits at the ArtAbout Reception: May 10, 7-9pm. |
"Off the Grid" the community mural designed by Rachel Hartsough for the Discovery Art program in 2012, is on permanent display at the California Energy Commission in Sacramento. Congratulations to all the artists, students, and families who participated in creating this beautiful and enduring work of art!
This summer's Discovery Art theme is "Momentum" and will include another community mural, a Bicycle Arts Festival, and other fun activities, so stay tuned.
If you participated in any aspect of Discovery Art 2012, please look for a survey that will be sent through email and posted on Facebook in the next week. Your feedback will help us evaluate past activites and design future programs that are unique, creative and community-focused. |
