Greetings!
What fantastic attendance we had for both our Chamber Happy Hour at Verge and Mixer at Main Street Burgers last week. It was wonderful to see so many new faces getting involved and connecting with other Chamber members.
Please join us for our Biz to Biz luncheon at Testarossa Winery on April 29th. Our speaker will be Doug Merritt of Splunk,a leading software platform for real-time Operational Intelligence. The Splunk software allows companies to harness the power of their machine data for application management, IT operations, security, web intelligence, customer and business analytics and more. They were recently recognized by the 2016 SC Magazine awards for the Best Fraud Prevention Solution.

March 9th, 6pm Come to Williams-Sonoma Los Gatos for the March Cookbook Club featuring Cravings by Chrissy Teigen. $75 per person includes a culinary demonstration from one of their culinary specialist, your own pre-signed copy of the cookbook and generous tasting of all the recipes prepared. March 12th, 11:00am - 2:00pm Check out the Summer Camp Fair hosted by the Los Gatos Youth Recreation Center. The Fair is a great way for parents and children to check out the summer programs, meet the instructors as well as join in on any demos and take advantage of discounts & freebies.

With painting demonstrations, interactive displays, a photo booth and hourly docent led tours, there will be art and history experiences for the whole family! March 13th, 2pm - 4pm Come to Byington Vineyard & Winery for Sunday Funday! Enjoy a fun filled afternoon listening to Katie Garibaldi live. Katie has a characteristic music style wherein her equally pop-and country-tinged folk rock gives her a distinct and edgy sound - Americana with sparkling memorable melodies. March 15th, 3pm - 4:30pm Addison-Penzak Jewish Community Center is hosting their Jewish Music Theater! When you think of Jewish music theater, you probably think of Fiddler on the Rood. Many leading lights of the American musical theater are Jewish- from Rodgers and Hammerstein to Gershwin, Berlin, and Sondheim. Join them for a trip down memory lane with instructor Stephen S. Gill. You'll be entertained musically while learning some history about the composers and their music. This program is free for APJCC Members and $10 for non-members. March 31st, 7:00pm - 9:00pm The Addison-Penzak Jewish Community Center is hosting an interfaith panel discussion with Jewish, Christian, and Islamic scholars about common themes in Jewish, Christian, and Islamic art. This event is inspired by "Birds of Longing," the art exhibit currently on display at the JCC. Admission is $12. April 1st Applications will be available for Camp Erin, a free weekend long bereavement camp hosted by Hospice of Santa Cruz County. Camp Erin combines traditional, fun camp activities with grief education and emotional support. Through interactions with other children and with adults, campers learn that they are not alone in their grief. For more information click here.
April 24th, 9:00am The Rotary Club of Los Gatos presents the 39th Annual Great Race, a scenic footrace/walk down Highway 9 from Saratoga to Los Gatos. The 4-mile course takes you from beautiful Big Basin Way in Saratoga, down Highway 9 and finishes on N. Santa Cruz Ave. in scenic Los Gatos. For more information click here.
