December 8th - Janunary 1st Byington Vineyard and Winery, a long-time Santa Cruz Mountains producer, invites wine lovers to help them support Second Harvest Food Bank. For each bottle of Pinot Noir Sparking Rose purchased online or at the tasting room, Byington will donate $5 to the Food Bank.

December 8th - 31st Come to Vasona Lake County Park for the 17th Annual Fantasy of Lights. A Dinosaur Den, basketball-plating Santa and the Tunnel of Lights make for an unparalleled holiday-themed spectacle. The 1.5 mile route leads automobiles around the park while a special local-area radio station pipes the holiday music. This year, tickets are prepaid only! December 11th, 7:30pm Congregation Shir Hadash celebrates Hanukkah with a family service and candle lighting. Storytelling, the Shir Hadash Junior Choir and jelly doughnuts make for a fun evening for the whole family. All are welcome to this free celebration.
December 12th, 1pm - 3pm The New Museum Los Gatos is hosting a Holiday Lights Drop-in Workshop. Elizabeth Greer helps kids and their families create festive paper ornaments that incorporate LED lights and electric gel paint. $15 materials fee. Visit here for more information.

December 13th & 20th, 11am - 3pm Santa will be in the Town Plaza Park! And this isn't just any Santa, but a Santa with terrific listening skills and extensive C.V. as a jolly old elf.
