Thank you everyone for attending the exciting mixer last week at Rootstock Wine Bar. Tonight we are starting a new event called Chamber Happy Hour at Verge located in the Toll House Hotel. This Saturday is a BBQ for the Los Gatos Young Professionals at Vasona Park and a Ribbon Cutting on June 12th. In addition, we have a mixer scheduled on June 24th at the Wine Cellar Restaurant. The LGYP is a dynamic group of young entrepreneurs serving the community in a variety of professions. With members ranging from ages 21-39, the program has been created to cultivate the next generation of civic and business leaders. The group is designed to provide business contacts,
professional growth, and valuable information to the young professional.
All LGYP hosted events and mixers are free for members and $15 for prospective members.

June 4th - 4 - 7 pm, The Butter Paddle hosts a trunk show. Christi Schimpke the designer of CRASH by Minabea will be at the store. Crash by Minabea is eco-friendly jewelry made from crashed luxury European vehicles such as late model Mercedes-Benzs, BMWs, Ferraris, Maseratis, and more. Check it out here
June 6th - 12 - 4 pm, Grand opening celebration of the NUMU located at 106 E Main Street in Los Gatos. Please join NUMU and our neighbors, Friends of the Los Gatos Library as we celebrate our grand re-openings together! Free Admission all day to NUMU! Remarks from the town, NUMU and Friends of the Library will begin at 1:30pm. Great art and living history. Performance art featuring Dani Dodge. Robots lovingly created by Kal Spelletich. July 12th, First Wave Events presents Jungle Run Half Marathon & 10K - 2015. The Jungle Run Half Marathon course extends North through the streets of Los Gatos and onto the scenic Los Gatos Creek Trail at the Los Gatos Creek County Park in Campbell ending at the Los Gatos High School Track. June 13th - 8 - 10:15 am, Billy Jones Wildcat railroad hosts their annual Flapjacks & Railroad Tracks Pancake Breakfast! Tickets are available onsite when you purchase your breakfast items and there shall be plenty of seating provided. June 13th - 1 - 4 pm, Palo Alto Medical Foundation's new Los Gatos Center, located at 15400 Los Gatos Blvd., opens on Monday, June 22. Prior to the opening day, everyone is invited to a Grand Opening Celebration to take a look around the new medical before it opens. PAMF staff will be offering tours, entertainment, healthy snacks and more. Bring your family and friends!
June 16th - 20th - Los Gatos Plein Air, Artists Paint on Location. Plein Air is a fundraiser sponsored by the Los Gatos Morning Rotary Club, which supports the arts, music and youth in the South Bay, and the humanities programs of Rotary International. For more information, visit their website
June 20th - 21st, 12 - 5 pm, The Summit Wineries are holding their 4th annual Solstice on The Summit (S.O.S.) Festival. This festive weekend includes seven wineries providing a 'top of the world' wine tasting experience', with gifts for sale by local artisans, live music, tours, food, and mountain wine. All wineries are in the Summit Road area between Los Gatos and Santa Cruz: Burrell School, MJA Vineyards, Silver Mountain, Villa del Monte, and Wrights Station; and Muns Vineyard and Radonich Brothers Winery will be at The Summit Store. Tickets are $25, include an event wineglass, and are good for both days at all participating locations. Tickets are available from any participating winery. Each winery will offer a different festival experience celebrating summer, so visit them all! More information here

August 8th & 9th - 10 am - 6 pm, Join 20,000 of your friends at the forty-first annual Fiesta de Artes at the Los Gatos Civic Center grounds on Saturday and Sunday, August 8th and 9th. Don't miss the town's one and only art and wine festival. The 2015 The Fiesta is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club and benefits local scholarships. Enjoy 150 artists, gourmet food, wine and beer, and live music. Treat the kids to snow cones and a jump house. Celebrate with visitors from all over the San Francisco Bay Area.
