May 5th - 7:00 pm, The Town of Los Gatos has been discussing changes to the guidelines for businesses offering Alcohol and Entertainment for several months.  In April of 2014, the Town Council formed an Ad-Hoc Committee to study this issue and make recommendations to the full Council.  On October 15, 2014, the Ad-Hoc Committee presented their recommendations to the Town Council, who then directed staff to take the comments and create ordinance language and return to the Council with this draft ordinance.

The draft ordinance language and staff report are in the process of being completed and will be available on the Town's website beginning Friday, May 1 in preparation for the Council discussion on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. during a regularly scheduled Town Council Meeting.  At this meeting, the Council will be discussing the language that is proposed to become an ordinance. As a part of this process, following the Council's discussion, the draft ordinance will be considered by the Planning Commission for recommendations back to the Town Council.  Once this happens, the Council will discuss the Planning Commission's recommendations and finalize the ordinance for codification within the Town Code.

The public is welcome to comment on this or any item on the Town Council Meeting agenda by completing a public comment card at the meeting.  In addition, comments are welcome prior to the meeting via email or mail, and are included in the public record given that they are received by the submittal deadline of 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2015.
