The Town of Los Gatos and Chamber of Commerce have arranged for a meeting with the members of the Los Gatos/Monte Sereno Police Department to discuss methods for crime prevention and awareness for our merchants. ___________________________________ It's Time for the 2014 Photo Contest! The Visitor's Bureau of the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce holds the contest asking for local photographers to use Los Gatos as their subject focusing on one or more of the following catagories: * Seasonal sites, happenings & activities * Shopping, dining, wine making & tasting, etc. * Town scenery & the beauty of Los Gatos * Special category this year - Holiday Carriage Rides The contest is open to all photographers of all ages. A panel of local professional photographers judges the entries. Winning photos and a sample photograph from each entrant will be displayed at the chamber's June 19th Business After Hours and Photo Award Ceremony at Presentation Center. A People's Choice Award winner will be chosen that evening by the guests at the event. The Los Gatos Chamber is proud to announce that it will be accepting nominations for its 10th Annual Business/Professional Person of the Year Award and Business of the Year.
Individuals, organizations or businesses may submit nominations. Self nominations are also invited. The Business/Professional Person of the Year Award is designed to recognize the outstanding business person or professional who has worked above and beyond expectation to make Los Gatos a better place to live and work: whose contributions have made significant and beneficial impacts on the Los Gatos Community.
The Business of the Year Award is given to a Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce Member that has been in business for 3 years or longer. The intent is to honor a Chamber business that has given unselfishly for the betterment of Los Gatos and/or its residents.
The Awards will be presented at the Chamber's Annual Dinner & Installation of Officers on July 17, 2014 at La Rinconada Country Club. Deadline for submission if May 15, 2014.Nomination forms are available in the Chamber office and online www.losgatoschamber.com
