The Economic Development Board discussed Transportation 2040 Prioritization.
The primary objective of the Transportation 2040 Prioritization process is to understand how projects in the plan might be prioritized to best meet the objectives of the region's growth strategy - VISION 2040. The revenue shortfall for Transportation 2040 has grown by $15 billion since the plan was adopted in 2010. PSRC's Executive Board could decide that the prioritization process may help inform future decisions as the region deals with limited resources. The Prioritization Report is now available.

The Economic Development Board discussed supplier diversity.
As part of its support for small business and women- and minority-owned businesses in the region, the Board adopted the following 2013 Action Item which supports the Regional Economic Strategy's Business Climate foundation: "Convene small business and women- and minority-owned business organizations to develop an action plan to help these businesses thrive." The board welcomed Kimberly Williams, Purchasing Manager at the Washington State Department of Transportation for a presentation on the Quarterly Supplier Diversity Best Practices Summit. Her presentation covered how these summits address the challenges that organizations face in increasing the share of small business, and women- and minority-owned businesses in their procurement practices.
