September 2013
Greetings!

As the CREDO conference season resumes, CREDO's lifelong wellness resources keep pace, with even more opportunities to focus on your health and wellness beyond the conference setting. We offer here two CREDO series that can be enjoyed solely, with a friend or loved one, or in a more structured group setting. Walk and Be Well and the CREDO meditation series for Advent and Christmas provide multiple ways to connect with daily inspiration as a solo practice or in the company of others. Take advantage of these great offerings as a way to commit to your well-being this fall.

BACK by Popular Demand:

CREDO
Walk and Be Well

During October, CREDO is re-launching a four-week program called Walk and Be Well. This is a terrific series of audio reflections on walking (and so much more) by three CREDO faculty members: Jacqueline Cameron, Elizabeth McKay Moosbrugger, and Bill Watson. The series was so popular last year, it is returning for an encore. You can renew your subscription and get the same great reflections you enjoyed last October, or sign up for the first time and enjoy a month of daily inspiration that will expand your spirit as you stretch your legs.

What will you discover?

Yes, this series talks about walking, but it's really more about wellness. It's about finding margin, building relationships, and embracing change. It's a reminder of Identity, Discernment, Practice, and Transformation.

The series starts with an introductory email on September 30, followed by four weeks of daily reflections in text and audio to accompany you on your walk each day. The series is also downloadable as a podcast series.

Signing up is the first step. Take a stride forward for your health and well-being.  Make October your month to Walk and Be Well.

Looking for an Advent series?  CREDO Audio and Video Meditations for Advent and Christmas coming soon

Advent 2013

This Advent and Christmas season, CREDO is featuring a reflection series by Barbara Cawthorne Crafton from her Advent and Christmas book of meditations Let Every Heart Prepare.

Barbara's book, which is published by Church Publishing Incorporated, an affiliate company of the Church Pension Fund, anchors each short daily reflection with an appropriate hymn, providing a lyrical resonance to her seasonal reflections.

A perfect Advent and Christmas reflection series
to offer your parishioners and staff

With daily audio reflections for home paired with the Sunday morning audio-video readings by the author herself, the six-week series Let Every Heart Prepare will be the perfect adult forum for Sunday mornings or every day in the church workplace. For planning purposes, the material will be accessible in advance.

Watch for enrollment details in October
from CREDO and the Church Pension Group.
