Outdoor Ministry Opportunities

Along with the rest of the ELCA, Lutherock celebrates this summer's National Youth Gathering, where thousands of Lutheran youth will gather in Detroit, Michigan, for a week of life-changing experiences and fellowship. The National Youth Gathering, lends itself as a huge part of personal faith journeys for high school students all over the country, providing an entirely different, yet equally wonderful, form of spiritual nourishment than camp offers. Don't miss out on a week of camp; you can do BOTH this summer!
This extra-long weekend will include all the fun of summer camp and is perfect for those with busy summer schedules, or those who just want to come back for more camp fun! Middle School youth will do the High Ropes Course, Group Interaction Course, hike and rock climb at Cross Rock, and enjoy an outing to a nearby rockslide. High School youth will do the Challenge Tower, Team Development Course, hike and rock-climb at Pinnacle, and enjoy an outing to a nearby rockslide. Everyone will enjoy evening activities like camp games, ice-cream making, campfire, singing, and worship! The rate for each age group is $200.
