* Several new online trainings for our synod. Click here to register for one or all. Here's how the process works. We are using "Go To Meeting" software and can have up to 15 people on each training. If these fill, we can easily schedule more. You will receive an email invitation with details on how to join the conversation. If you have a webcam, we'll see you. If not, no problem. If you are not near your computer but would like to be a part - you can call in (unfortunately, not a toll free call). You can also participate just by being in front of your computer and clicking on the link. It's really quite simple.

- January 12th - 10am. Family Lenten Devotion conversation.

- January 23rd - 10am. Child Safety conversation.

- February 1 - noon. Child Safety conversation.

- February 16th - noon. ELCA Youth Gathering updates.

- February 23rd - noon. Milestone ministry conversation.

LYO Registration is open for all. Join us for our annual 6-12th grade event, Feb. 24-26, 2012 at the Embassy Suites, Greensboro. Cost is $128 and we are registering online with our new system. Thanks for being our overnight event pioneers using this system.

* Our quarterly Y&F Network meeting is scheduled for January 17th from 10am until noon. Click here to let me know you are coming.

* If you are attending the 2012 ELCA Youth Ministry Extravaganza, let me know. Our synod will gather for dinner together (dutch, sorry) on Friday, Feb. 10th at 6:30pm. Working on the restaurant but that will depend on the numbers. Email me.

* Webinars - a word about the webinars listed below. You MUST register ahead of time in order to participate. (You can actually register NOW - just click on the link in the calendar below) There is a limit to the number of participants so you may need a back-up plan of watching it after it's posted online. These are usually up on the ELCA YM Network site within two days. So, plan accordingly.

*  ELCA Youth Gathering - click here to sign up for North Carolina updates. We are creating a database for those attending or considering attending so we can target our information.

* In the revamp of the website we have the opportunity to include pictures (slides really that change) on the homepage. I'd love to have pictures of your trips, events, etc. Email me with a 1-2 paragraph description and see your group on the www.lutheranyouth.org homepage.

* Family Table Devotions for Year B are online.
