You don't want to miss this workshop...Creating a Vision for Positive Leadership (.6 CEU)
Our ever-changing work environment presents daily challenges to our leaders and future leaders. An effective leader needs to create a positive workplace for their employees. This workshop will provide both leaders and future leaders the knowledge and skills required to challenge motivate and grow their employee's careers. Fundraising Event for ALL
District II is once again participating in Hersheypark's volunteer fundraising program to help raise funds for PRPS. Hersheypark has not made any changes for the upcoming season, so things will be handled just like they were in 2015.  Shift times will remain in 3, 4 or 5 hour time blocks with PRPS receiving $18 for each 3 hour shift, $24 for each 4 hour shift and $30 for each 5 hour shift. Therapeutic Recreation Institute (TRI)
"TRI the Voice of YOUR Future"
The TRI continues to offer a good deal for a full package or daily registration which includes breakfast and lunch. The full package member fee is $225. By attending the Full Institute you will receive 1.6 CEUs. If you attend the TRI and Pre-Conference you will earn 2.2 CEUs.

Mercer County has a small 115,000 gallon, Community pool in West Middlesex, 16146, is looking to add heat for our short summer season.

Trails Webinar
May 19 webinar: "Trails and Towns Together: How Communities Capitalize on Trail Tourism"
This webinar will include a case study of the first known "trail town" initiative - the Trail Town ProgramŽ along the Great Allegheny Passage. This webinar will appeal to trail and community advocates who are interested in launching their own programs, as well as to managers of existing programs who want to hear about how they can take their programs to the next level.
