Willistown Township is looking for samples of MOUs, use agreements, policies, or some kind of documentation between a little league or similar user and a township/borough/city/county for use of a park owned by the governmental body. Willistown has a Little League that for the most part exclusively uses a small park with two ball fields. They run the concession stand and make improvements to the property. The Township mows the grass, pays the electric and water, and manages any issues with the concession stand/potty pavilion: that is the extent of Township involvement. The Little League is asking about naming rights for parking spaces and dugouts, and posting signage on fences to raise money for park improvements and maintenance, so any fundraising guidelines or agreements would be helpful too. Send responses to: mhundt@willistown.pa.us.
