Student Internship Opportunities

The PA Department of Conservation & Natural Resources is searching for a full-time student interested in gaining valuable first-hand educational experience and on-the-job training by pursuing an internship with the Bureau of Recreation and Conservation. This position is an exciting opportunity for anyone planning to begin a career in Parks & Recreation or Environmental Sciences.

Gain a working knowledge of responsibilities associated with parks, trails, rivers and land conservation management.
Develop an understanding of the framework of park stewardship.
Work with grantees to ensure local park investments are protected.
Learn legislation, program policies and Bureau processes.
