PRPS "Rain" Work Day - THANK YOU!

Yesterday, we had our fall workday in the rain at the PRPS Office. We would like to thank Kurt Uhler, John Mikowychok, Kirk Rakos, Karen Hammond, and Rob Lewis for volunteering their time and working so hard to keep up with the office maintenance.

With all the rain they managed to:
  • clean out the gutters
  • weeded and pruned beds
  • rebuilt storage enclosure recycling/garbage
The next work day will be scheduled in the Spring. Hope you can join us! Check out more photos on our Facebook page.

Quantifying Park Benefits

Because public parks contribute to health and well-being, primarily by serving as an important venue for physical activity, it is in the best interests of park administrators to have a method to measure this contribution.
