The City of Bethlehem and the neighboring communities in the Lehigh Valley have experienced a rather difficult picnic season this year. They've had their hands full managing extra-heavy weekend use (mostly by non-residents), and the significant expense of clean-up, borne by taxpayers that follows each weekend.  All of our parks are free and open to the public. The two really popular parks have creeks that flow through them (Saucon and Monocacy). Here is the current park rule sign.
