Walmart's Community Grant Program

Walmart's Community Grant Program makes grants of $250 to $2500 available for hunger relief and healthy eating programs. Many local organizations, including schools, are eligible to apply.

 

 

It's Time to Get Outdoors PA! 
Check out the events for this week!

 

Get Outdoors PA, a program administered by PRPS, DCNR, PALTA, PFBC, PGC and DOH, and implemented by Get Outdoors Community Partners, will be officially launched to the public in May and June through a series of day-long regional events in addition to hundreds of standalone events, throughout the state!

 

The newly expanded Get Outdoors PA program wants to help you find your path to fun with outdoor recreation. Go to GetOutdoorsPA.org to find dozens of local events that will explore the outdoors and your interests, from learning to fish, to family camping, to nighttime paddles.

Discounted 
Amusement Park Tickets

 

Each year, the Pennsylvania Recreation and Park Society offers amusement park, zoo, aquarium, and other attraction tickets at a discounted rate as a community service to the residents of Pennsylvania. Tickets are sold by local recreation and park departments and agencies throughout the state, and are also available for purchase through the PRPS office.

 

In 2014, we are offering discounted tickets to 32 different amusement parks and attractions: Adventure Aquarium, Baltimore Aquarium, Busch Gardens, Camelbeach, Cedar Point, Clementon Park, DelGrosso's Amusement Park, Diggerland USA, Dorney Park, Dutch Wonderland, Elmwood Park Zoo, Hersheypark, Idlewild, Kennywood, Knoebels Amusement Park, Longwood Gardens, Montage Mountain Water Park, Morey's Piers, Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, Philadelphia Zoo, Pittsburgh Zoo, Roundtop Mountain Adventures, Sahara Sam's Oasis, Sandcastle, Sea World, Sesame Place, Six Flags America, Six Flags Great Adventure, Splash Lagoon, Splash Zone Water Park, Waldameer Park, and Water Country USA.
