Monday Morning AIM High Moment

Welcome New AIM High Mentors!

Thank you for signing up as a Mentor in the AIM High program. There are a few steps that we would still need from you. First, please click here to submit your contact information so that we may enter you in our system. Then, please look below and select a date for New Mentor Orientation from below.  

 

New Mentor Orientation Dates!

If you have not gone through New Mentor Orientation yet, or would like a refresher course on it, register here for one of the following dates.   

 

- Thursday, January 24th, from 12pm to 1pm     

- Tuesday, January 29th, from 12pm to 1 pm   

  

 

Mentor Trainings:

Mark your Calendars!   

 

Mentors, please make sure to have at least one staff person present at each of the upcoming training sessions.

 

Friday, January 18th - March to College Kick off

Friday, January 25th - Cultural event and Career fair  

 

 

DePaul University Research Study: Only a short time left to let your voice be heard! 

 

Thank you to the mentors who have taken out the time to complete the DePaul survey! We are coming to the tail end of this experience and still need your participation. The survey will be closing on February 1st, less than 2 weeks away! We have the opportunity to partner with DePaul University to participate in an upcoming research study on mentors. AIM High mentors - we would love your participation!

First Story Time Session of 2013

Terrific Tales Story Time with The Storybook Mom- Nili Yelin

 

Who's Invited: All AIM High students, parents, mentors, and friends with younger siblings or children between the ages of 3 and 10.

What: A FREE, fun and interactive family literacy time with The Storybook Mom- Nili Yelin

Why: This is an opportunity for the whole family to fall in love with reading!

Where: West Englewood Library 1745 W. 63rd Street

When:

January 19th and one Saturday a month throughout the school year.
