Greetings!
The BYOD (bring-your-own-device) trend has reached a tipping point -- more than a quarter billion workers worldwide have adopted some form of BYOD. For the CIO, BYOD represent both an opportunity to outsource device cost to employees and a call to action to implement security models and application architectures that are device-agnostic.
According to the Forrester report, the rise of "anytime, anywhere" younger workers is driving the trend of BYOD in the United States and Europe; this workforce grew from 15 percent to 28 percent of employees from 2011 to 2012. The BYOD demands of this group will likely continue to drive IT, so smart CIOs are developing strategies to tackle it.
This edition of InSIGHT shares shares BYOD strategies and highlights one CIO's approach. SCI's knowledge and experience with mobile, web, application development and integration can help you and your team make cost-effective device decisions. Call or email us if we can help you and your team.
 All the best,
Janet
