 Columbia, MD, December 12, 2012 -- Software Consortium (SCI), a leading information technology solutions and professional services provider to commercial and government institutions in the Mid-Atlantic region, announced the appointment of its CEO Janet Amirault to the Board of the Capital Area Society for Information Management (SIM) today. Amirault was chosen as the SBA's Small Business Person of the Year for Maryland and the Women in Public Policy's AT & T Innovator of the Year, making her an ideal member for the Society of Information Management's mission.
SIM is an invitational association of senior IT executives, prominent academicians, and other IT innovators who share and enhance their rich intellectual capital for the benefit of its members and their organizations, which include general business, Federal and State Governments and academic institutions.
