 Back-to-School Checklist
Get Ready for the 2016-2017 School Year!
With the first day of school approaching on Thursday, September 1, the documents and links below will help you get up to speed for the 2016-2017 year. This checklist and other helpful school information is also available on the Oak Knoll website. 

  • Read Back-to-School news from the PTO President 
  • Review the School Calendar or the list of School Event Dates
  • Learn about our PTO Donation Drive and invest in Oak Knoll today!
  • Make a donation to the MPAEF and support our District
  • Support the MPAEF and MPCSD schools while you shop 
  • Join or volunteer for a PTO Committee - get involved!
  • Get School Supplies: Download lists for Grades 1-3, Grade 4 or Grade 5 
  • Review the Parking and Car Line Procedures
  • Check the Transportation page for the SamTrams bus schedule
  • Sign up for the school's weekly newsletter, The Otter Weekly
  • Order the new Otterwear to show your school spirit
  • Sign up for Hot Lunch 
  • Join us at the Fall Family Picnic (download form in English or en Espanol)
  • Check out the After School Programs 
  • Register for After School Sports - Fall Volleyball for 4/5th Grade Girls 
  • Sign up for Newton's On-Site After School Care 
  • Review the Otter Expectations Student Handbook with your child
