MAKE IT COUNT - HELP US EARN AN ADDITIONAL $80,000 FOR OUR SCHOOLS Donate Today & Be Part of the $80,000 for 80% Participation Challenge
There are only 5 days left in the campaign. Have you committed your support to the MPAEF?
Here's a very good reason why you need to do so now. By donating or pledging online by November 20th, a group of generous district donors have pledged to give an additional $80,000 if we reach 80% parent participation. Help us rise to the challenge and achieve this goal in support of all our children's education. As of Friday, we need 568 district families to donate or make an online pledge to meet our goal of 80% participation. Every donation brings us one family closer. Your participation matters and any size donation counts, so consider making one that is meaningful for your family. The only donation too small is no donation at all! The time to take action is now. You can pledge or donate online at www.mpaef.org. You may mail donations to the MPAEF office at PO Box 584, Menlo Park, CA 94026 or drop off your donation in your school's office by Thursday. Please know that a pledge can be fulfilled through March 15, 2015, which is a great way to make your commitment, be counted, and pay at a time convenient for you. Thank you to our many families who have already committed their support. ____________________________________________________________________________
Are You IN Day! Let's Celebrate Our Schools! November 20th
With the conclusion of the annual fundraising campaigns, it's time to celebrate all of our families and their commitment to our schools. Your support of the MPAEF and Oak Knoll's PTO help make possible an incredible education for every child in our District. Let's celebrate with Are You IN Day on Thursday! We look forward to seeing our students, teachers, staff and parents all wearing ORANGE! Each school has its special plans -- we hope you will join in the fun. ____________________________________________________________________________ Thank You For Supporting the 5th Annual MPAEF Gift Boutique
Heartfelt thanks goes out to parent volunteers Julia Molise and Claire Thompson and their entire team for organizing the 5th Annual MPAEF Gift Boutique held at Allied Arts this past week. District parents and community members shopped over 20 amazing and thoughtfully chosen vendors, dined at the Cafe and spent an evening with the experts on holiday party planning.
Thank you to everyone who came out and shopped and those who volunteered. The Boutique is a much loved feel good community event and 20% of Boutique proceeds will benefit our schools. Thank you!
|
Please donate extra kids' clothing to our office - especially needed before (hopefully) rainy days! All kids' sizes welcome.
Also, as you finalize holiday plans, please report planned absences by filling out this online form, emailing Cathy Petersen, or calling the school office at 650-854-4433. Thank you!

After public comment, the Board unanimously denied the petition based on the criteria outlined in the law, adopting the Leadership Team's report as the official written findings. Substitute Teachers Needed for District Pool
|
Looking for a way to contribute to your child's school district and earn yourself a few dollars? Why not try substitute teaching a couple of days a week? Substitutes without a California Teaching Credential are employed on a short term basis (meaning day-to-day subbing vs long-term leave subbing). We often need substitutes for roving purposes, meaning substitutes release teachers for special meetings or trainings for a few hours during the day. In order to sub in California, we need to see a passing CBEST score and transcripts showing a BA or higher. For more information, contact our district office.
