December Book of the Month - Amazing Grace
|
During the month of December all classes K-5 will be reading the book Amazing Grace by Mary Hoffman. Grace is a girl who loves stories. She loves them so much she likes to act them out. Her class is going to do the play Peter Pan and Grace wants to be Peter but is told she can't because she is a girl and that she can't because she is black. Grace has the confidence to try anyway!
Please check out my Counselor's Corner webpage for more information about the December Book of the Month, and our Disaster Awareness Campaign.

These questions and more will be answered in a 6-week parent study group series facilitated by Pam Von Wiegand, founder of Project Cornerstone.
Six Tuesday evenings starting January 7, 20114 from 7-8:30pm at the Hillview PAC. Please RSVP to Robin Soran.
