Dear Parents,

 

I need your help!  We are in the final stages of our PTO membership drive and we have received pledges to cover only 68% of the budgeted programs and services we have planned for your children this year. The PTO conducts this one major fundraiser during the year so our budget is almost entirely dependent on this event's success.

PTO expenditures include: 

  • Teacher and specialist classroom supplies
  • Field trips
  • Assemblies and outside programs
  • Science Fair and Science Olympiad
  • School spirit days
  • Teacher appreciation
  • Parent education events
  • Community building events like fall family picnic, spring fair, kinder welcome, new family welcome

To date, only 58% of our families have joined the PTO, and in order to continue to fund these programs, we need your family's involvement and investment in our PTO.  Five dollars is the cost of membership but the cost of providing our children with these programs is $250 per child. Please give in any way that is meaningful to your family and if you are able, please consider sponsoring additional students.  As we use all the funds this school year, the PTO fundraising deadline is Thursday, September 26.
