Welcome to the December issue of "News Doctor".  Every month, we send you articles that are suitable for reprinting in your congregational newsletter.  But you need to "doctor" up the articles to include locally important information, and so we call this service the "News Doctor". 

Our first article this month describes Rabbi Charles Simon's "Unraveller", a weekly email discussing the Haftarah portion to be read the following Shabbat.

  Our second article describes the annual FJMC "World Wide Wrap" which this year will take place on February 7, 2010. Although this same topic was presented last month in News Doctor, its importance justifies the repetition.

The last article pertains to Men's Club Shabbat.  The official FJMC Men's Club Shabbat is held on Shabbat HaChodesh, which this year will be on March 13.  However, there is wide variation in when individual clubs conduct this event, so we have elected to include the topic in this edition.
